LOGO & BRANDING

This project was to create a brand for a bathroom supplies distributor. The logo needed to draw attention, be memorable and encompass the underlying messages of strength and durability.

In order to be memorable, a logo needs to be easily recognised and quickly recalled. Concrete words and images are better recalled than abstract ones. The water drop is a concrete element and therefore easily recognised and remembered.

Partially obscured objects draw our attention because our brains like to connect the dots. That’s why the drop only exists when our subconscious mind connects the individual squares (bathroom tiles) to see the bigger picture.

Our brain links the following associations to the brand: water, motion, circulation, bathroom, tiles, shower
